Designer by training, in 1991 he founded the Konstantin Grcic Industrial Design studio in Munich, Germany. He has created many pieces of furniture, industrial design products and lighting for some of the major European companies.
Many of his products, a synthesis of formal exactness and considerable acumen, have received prestigious design awards and are present in the permanent collections of many international museums, including the MoMA in New York. His minimalism is often defined as “function” in terms of the use of the object in daily life.
In October 2000 Konstantin Grcic was nominated guest of honour at the Kortrijk Design Biennale in Belgium, where he presented a wide selection of his work. Companies such as Flos, Muji, Nespresso, Plank and Vitra avail themselves of his ideas.

by hand.
Celere
